Internationally renowned expert in the field of modelling and design optical transmission systems and photonics applications. He fulfilled various roles over his past 20 years with the VPIphotonics team: contributed many fundamental modelling advances, invoked an industry training & service program, led VPIphotonics’ R&D efforts and product line management. Today, he is serving as General Manager. André Richter has co-authored one book chapter and over 100 publications. He has led VPIphotonics’ contributions to many externally funded R&D programmes.
