Francisco Diaz-Otero is Associated professor at the University of Vigo in the photonics and optical communications group. He has more than 15 years of experience in private companies like Vodafone and Movistar and trainer/advisor for major companies in photonics, participates in EU projects and innovation actions in integrated photonics and.training programmes at universities He supervised more than 40 B.Sc. and M.Sc. students as well as ten PhD students. Francisco Diaz will be DRIVE-In’s PI and Training Manager.  His research interests include quantum and classical integrated communications, nonllinear optics and sensing.
